The City of Zacatecas honors his native son, the abstract painter and sculptor Manuel Felguerez, by making a museum dedicated to him in the 19th century magnificent building -the seminary before- to house his vast works. The museum also contains works from at least other 120 Mexican artists that have produced abstract paintings or sculpture within the last 50 years.
