 Additional info

Housed in the remains of the San Francisco Convent -built in 1567-  the Rafael Coronel museum contains the largest collection of Mexican masks in all of Mexico. Since it is forbidden to use flash inside the very dark display area and bags and backpacks need to be checked in, I decided to better just stroll inside and around the magnificent ruins.
