 Additional info

A poor side door in the Zacatecas cathedral, in strong contrast to the elaborated and rich baroque masterpiece building, probably taking directly from the street into the stairwell to the bell towers. Heavily weathered and now reinforced with an iron bar and lock, it could be at least 300 years old and -if true- painted over hundreds of times, so its color defies definition. Although it contrasts well against the pink sandstone from the quarries of the region, probably I should have used a touch of fill flash to pump up contrast since the day was heavily overcast.
