I bought later a N4004s, then a N6006.  But soon after an unfortunately short interlude with the magnificent Nikon 8008s, the Nikon F4s came into my heart and my hands just in time when I was loosing a little of my eyesight. Its 'autofocus' servos have saved me -most certainly- of loosing a subject.

My back is not as strong as before (not that it ever was) but it has been easier to concentrate on a single body and three lenses. 

With a 24mm f/2.8D AF Wide angle Nikkor, a 35-135mm f/3.5-4.5 AF Zoom-Nikkor and a 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6 AF Zoom-Nikkor, I have resolved most of circumstances and distances, with the help of the powerful SB-25 speedlight and medium to high speed film.

Maybe all is needed now is a 20mm f/2.8D AF Nikkor AIS super wide and a fast 400mm f/2.8 ED-IF AF-I Nikkor super telephoto lens, to cover 99% of the possible normal needs of a professional or a very serious amateur photographer.
 

But then, perhaps an upgrade to the F5 will deserve the new "Silent Wave" lenses and should be seriously considered to get the 28-70mm f/2.8D IF-ED AF-S Zoom-Nikkor, the 80-200mm f/2.8D IF-ED AF-S Zoom-Nikkor and a 300mm f/2.8 ED-IF AF-S with a TC-14E AF tele-converter to make it a 420mm f/4 when needed.  I better start to save.
